CALIFORNIA TRANSPARENCY IN THE SUPPLY CHAINS ACT OF 2010 (S.B. 657)

Lawrence Foods is opposed to all human slavery/forced labor and human trafficking.

Lawrence Foods is strongly opposed to all human slavery/forced labor and human trafficking, and is in compliance with the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (S.B. 657). The following represents Lawrence Foods’ required Disclosure Statement:

We share our policy regarding S.B. 657 with our employees, and our employees who have direct responsibility in supply chain management may pursue informal training as needed with respect to the mitigation of risks of human trafficking and slavery.

We inform all direct suppliers of the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (S.B. 657) and our requirement to comply with the “Lawrence Foods Supplier Code of Conduct” whereby our suppliers are required to certify, among other things, that material used in the manufacture of items purchased by Lawrence Foods comply with country of origin and other applicable laws regarding slavery, child labor and human trafficking.

We do not engage in verification of product supply chains to evaluate and address risks of human trafficking and slavery, nor conduct audits of suppliers to evaluate supplier compliance with company standards against trafficking and slavery in supply chains. We do not require direct suppliers to certify that materials incorporated into the product comply with the laws regarding slavery and human trafficking of the country or countries in which they are doing business.

We do not maintain internal accountability standards and procedures for employees or contractors failing to meet company standards regarding slavery and trafficking nor do we provide company employees and management, who have direct responsibility for supply chain management, training on human trafficking and slavery, particularly with respect to mitigating risks within the supply chains of products.

SUPPLIER CODE OF CONDUCT

Lawrence Foods seeks to be a responsible corporate citizen and to ensure high quality and safety standards in our business and that of our suppliers.

Lawrence Foods is opposed to all human slavery/forced labor and human trafficking. Lawrence Foods is committed to conducting business with high ethical business standards and asks its vendors, suppliers and licensees to conduct themselves in the same manner. Accordingly, all direct Suppliers are required to read, understand and comply with the principles set forth in this Code of Conduct.

Prohibition of Child Labor: The use of child labor is prohibited. Any forms of exploitation of children are forbidden. Mandatory compliance with international standards and applicable country of origin laws and regulations regarding child labor is required.

Prohibition of Forced, Slave of Compulsory Labor and Human Trafficking: All forms of forced labor, slavery and human trafficking are forbidden. Mandatory compliance with international standards and applicable country of origin laws and regulations regarding forced labor is required. Compliance with California Transparency in Supply Chain Act, if applicable to your company, is required by providing website link or copy of public disclosure.

Working Hours and Compensation: Normal working hours, wages and overtime when necessary, will be in compliance with applicable laws in local and national country of origin.

Health and Safety: Suppliers will operate their facilities to ensure that all employees have a safe environment in which to work. Steps will be taken to prevent accident and injury.

Abuse and Discrimination: Suppliers will treat employees with respect and not subject employees to abuse, unusual disciplinary actions or discrimination in hiring practices according to the laws of the country in which they conduct business.

Auditing and Monitoring: Lawrence Foods may conduct audits (including unannounced and/or third party audits) in writing or by site inspection for the purpose of reviewing work conditions and other business practices with respect to forced labor/slavery, child labor or human trafficking, as well as compliance with working conditions.

Lawrence Foods is a Kosher certified facility, supervised by the Orthodox Union (OU). Lawrence Foods engages in both dairy and pareve production.
